Manager – Heavy Truck Technician and Cleaning

We are also developing the market for specialized work in confined spaces, underwater work and cleaning work in remote areas.

The chief technician will be attached to the Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil branch, but the work is carried out at the various customers.

  • Type : Permanent

  • Location: Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil

  • Remuneration: $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Sunday;

  • Permanent full-time position.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field;

  • Valid driver’s license (class 5);

  • The chief technician must be able to move independently and safely with a mobile unit (cube truck);

  • The chief technician must also be in good physical shape because it is a demanding manual job that often takes place outdoors even in winter;

  • The chief technician will preferably have some knowledge of general mechanics and mechanics of small engines;

  • The personal qualities we are looking for for this type of position are punctuality, meticulousness and attendance;

  • The chief technician must also have a positive attitude towards customers because he will often be in direct contact with them. He must represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Responsibilities

  • The chief technician will be mainly assigned to the cleaning of commercial fleets;

  • He will have to perform high pressure cleaning of all types of vehicles and mobile equipment;

  • On occasion, he will also be called upon to clean the interior of vehicles;

  • The chief technician will be called upon to carry out industrial and commercial cleaning operations inside and outside all types of buildings;

  • These cleanups may include operations such as cleaning up spills, cleaning and stripping surfaces and removing graffiti;

  • Some operations can be done at height with nacelles.

  • The employee will have to carry out the maintenance of a mobile unit (cube truck) including the maintenance of pressure machines and equipment in the mobile unit;
